Numeracy
The Grade 10 Numeracy unit covers two broad areas : Radicals and Factoring.
The Radicals unit studies the relationship between the inverse operations of exponents (positive, negative, fractional) and roots (square roots, cube roots and higher index roots).
The Factoring unit continues the relationship between integer operations and polynomial operations. The focus will be on factoring trinomials -- the division of rectangles.
