Measurement is the study of the space and objects around us. It can involve a study of how numbers are used to describe objects. Exponents are a short-hand way of representing repeated multiplication. Exponents are used in many formulas that we can use to measure and describe the surface area and volume of the 3-dimensional objects around us.
